Warm Puppies

Let me begin by saying that I think that this person should have gotten a lot tougher sentence for what he did to this little creature. However, I can't help drawing a funny parallel between this and a David Sedaris story ("The Youth in Asia") in which he discusses the healing powers of his mother. Their dog was having puppies and one of them looked like he wasn't going to make it, so she got out a baking dish, set the oven to warm and slid the lifeless pup in. Of course, the children freaked and she calmly responds "Oh, keep your shirts on. It's only set on 150--I'm not baking anyone. This is just to keep it warm." In a few minutes the puppy was revived and the Sedaris children were convinced that their mother could resurrect the dead. The cute dead, that is.

Seriously, read the story.

peace out

PS--I don't want to hear a word about how long it's been.
